“We’re Proud Of Our Boys” – Fulham FC Hail Alex Iwobi And Calvin Bassey

Fulham football club has congratulated two of its Nigerian players, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, who played at the just-concluded African Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.

The London-based club shared photo of the two Nigerian players on its X handle on Tuesday, with the caption, “Proud of both our boys.”

The Super Eagles were defeated 2-1 by the hosts, ending the team’s dream of a fourth continental crown.

The Super Eagles-Fulham midfielder, Iwobi who has been facing stiff social media criticisms from some aggrieved fans has deleted all his Instagram posts, leaving one video post and blocking the comment section.

President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, conffered the national honours of Member of the order of the Niger on each Super Eagles Player.
