Last night in the Big Brother Naija season 9 show, housemate, Anita Ukah tackled her lover and housemate, Topher. This was after she discovered Topher’s real age. Topher is 24, while Anita is 29. Speaking about the age difference, Anita confronted Topher. She also revealed she has never dated someone younger than her, Anita also made it known to him, on how much she prioritizes honesty and communication in a relationship.
Anita Ukah’s handler wrote on instagram:
I would like to clarify the recent issue regarding the age predicament. I was disheartened to learn that he had misrepresented his age to me in the Big Brother house, not due to the age gap itself, but rather due to the absence of honesty and transparency.
Trust and communication are essential components of any relationship, and I had anticipated that he would reciprocate.
His age was never the issue rather, it was his discomfort with disclosing his authentic self to me.
We should concentrate on the positive aspects and avoid allowing misinformation to sever our bonds.
