Inter Milan completes Christian Eriksen deal
Inter Milan have announced the signing of Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur until 2024.
The deal has been long awaited by fans and the player, as his zeal to play for the club diminished after the end of last season.
Eriksen contract was due to expire at the end of the season and spurs wouldn’t want such a talented player to leave on a free transfer, hence they had to sell him this January.
There were talks of him moving to Real Madrid or Manchester United last summer but failed to materialize.
Antoine Conte since joining Inter Milan in the summer has been hunting the English Premier League for stars to fit in to his current team and he’s been successful with signing five from the league.
So far, he has signed Lukaku, Sanchez(loan), Ashley Young, Victor Moses and Christian Eriksen.
After completing his €20Million move to Inter Milan, Eriksen spoke to the Inter media about the pleasure of joining the club.
He said he couldn’t wait to join Inter Milan football club.
Eriksen expressed how elated he is joining the club.
He spoke about how excited he is and can’t wait to introduce himself to the fans.
Eriksen said Inter Milan is a fantastic club and he is delighted to be playing in Serie A.
He promised to put in his best and make his fans proud.
Meanwhile, Tottenham announced Lo Celso signing a permanent deal with the club until 2025.
Giovani Lo Celso also joined the club from Real Betis on loan at the start of the season.
With the departure of Eriksen it seemed right to make the deal permanent.
