Eden Hazard who recently recovered from an ankle injury have faced another setback in Real Madrid 1-0 lost to Levante on Saturday.

The forward limped off in the second half of the tie and looked like he had an issue with his right ankle which had kept him out of the team since November.

This was Eden Hazard’s second game for Madrid after recovering from injury and he looks set to miss another couple of weeks with this setback. Real Madrid medical team assessed the injury and has confirmed that the 29-yr-old Belgian has suffered a fracture to his right distal fibula.

His recovery will continue to be assessed.” Real Madrid who are currently second in the La Liga table have some big games incoming as they’ve been scheduled to face Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on the 26th of February and the El Clasico on the 1st of March.

Hazard looks likely to miss both matches as his recovery period can not be determined at the moment.
