Joshua currently holds the WBO, WBA and IBF titles after reclaiming them in December against Andy Ruiz JR.

Anthony Joshua will have to defeat his mandatory challenger Pulev to stay on course for a match against Fury or Wilder.

The anticipated match against Fury will have to be shifted to a later date as Wilder used his clause of asking for a rematch against Tyson Fury.

This will be Anthony Joshua’s first fight in the United Kingdom for almost two years as he spent last year fighting against Andy Ruiz Jr in New York and Saudi Arabia.

His last fight in UK was against Alexander Povetkin at Wembley stadium in September 2018.

The Bulgarian had been scheduled to fight Joshua in 2017, but Pulev pulled out with a shoulder injury. Pulev is currently on 28-1 with his only defeat coming against Wladimir Klitschko in 2014. After Pulev’s recovery from the injury he has defeated Derick Chisora and Hughie Fury.

Anthony Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn bis really anticipated for the fight between two British World Champions Joshua vs Fury: “We see that Deontay Wilder has exercised his rematch clause.

Anthony Joshua will fight Pulev in June. The winners must face off, undisputed championship later in the year… Tyson Fury’s gotta deal with Wilder, we’ve gotta deal with Pulev, and then you’ll see it.”
