Omo Ghetto (the saga)becomes highest grossing Nollywood movie

“Omo Ghetto” (the saga),a recent movie produced by Funke Akindele has been rated as Nollywood’s highest grossing movie of all time.

The comedy movie which was released on December 25th,2020,has broken a four years record by knocking off the comedy movie “The Wedding Party” which was produced by Kemi Adetiba in 2016.

The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) in a statement, said “Omo Ghetto”(the saga) movie has so far grossed N468,036,300 after holding the number one spot for its third week in a row.

You’ll recall that the movie is the first Nollywood movie to be premiered in the United Arab Emirates.

Actors who featured in the movie include: Tina Mba,Chioma Akpota,Eniola Badmus,Mercy Aigbe and other Nollywood actors and actresses.
