“You can’t do better than your predecessors”- Boko Haram leader, Shekau tells new service chiefs
The leader of the Islamic sect, Abubakar Shekau in a new audio which he released, has told the newly appointed service chiefs President Buhari appoints new service chiefsthat they cannot do better than their predecessors did in fighting insurgency.
According to reports by HumAngle, Shekau in his 9 minutes video, called the service chiefs to Islam. He mentioned the names and roles of the service chiefs and told them to repent saying, they cannot destroy his gang.
To Leo Irabor, he said,
“Leo Irabor, the head of the military, you should have sympathy for yourself, repent and connect to Islam. There is nothing you can do.”
When he got to the Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, he told the Major General not to deceive himself. He said,
“Even if you are muslim but you conduct polytheistic practises, you are no longer a muslim.”
A source told HumAngle that members of the sect might go on a major operation to send a message to the new service chiefs, in order to alert them of their readiness to fight.
