It all started when Jason Njoku spoke about being able to afford quality education for his children and does not mind paying 4 million naira every session for his children in school.

Followers and fans wondered why him and his wife pay their workers so low even as millionaires who can afford such outrageous fee for their kids.

In an attempt to justify herself, Mary Remmy Njoku took to her Instagram page to talk about education and adding values to an organisation. However, this didn’t go so well as followers continued dragging her.

She also wrote:

“I am a graduate! I studied biochemistry. I am a graduate, with 1st class medicine. I am a graduate with Bala bla bla….🙄
In my world, being a graduate just means you can read and write. So can SSCE holders.
I am more interested in what VALUE you can provide.
Education is an acquisition of skill, NOT certificate.”

A follower replied:

“Because you are privileged to find yourself on the other side of the coin, you can talk without empathy. Stop exploiting graduates!!! Give them what they are worth and I’m sure 40k is not what any graduate is worth! If I took this foolish mentality I will still be underpaid to date. I walked away from a 40k job on the first day of resumption and got a 100k job few months later as my first salary in Life. So Nigerian employers should do better and stop giving excuses for their exploitation.”
