Rapper DMX in critical condition over drug overdose

Halem born rapper, Earl Simmons popularly called DMX has allegedly suffered a heart attack after taking an over dose of drugs.

According to TMZ, a source close to the rapper says the overdose occurred at his home at around 11pm on Friday night. He was immediately rushed to a in White Plains, New York and is presently in a critical care unit.

A source revealed that DMX is in a “vegetative state”, while another claims he has “some brain activity”.

The news started when rapper Eric B shared an image of himself and DMX with the caption
“Please pray for my brother DMX,” he posted it along with the hashtag #DMXhospitalized.

This is not the first time he is getting involved with drug abuse scandal as in 2019 he went to a rehab over fear of his relapsing and this was after he serving about one year in prison for tax evasion.

Then his representatives wrote,

“In his ongoing commitment to putting family and sobriety first, DMX has checked himself into a rehab facility. He apologizes for his cancelled shows and thanks his fans for their continued support.”
