“Having Huge Social Media Followers Does Not Equal Money Or Sense”- Actress Halima Abubakar Tells Critics

Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has told her critics that her social media followers does not equal the amount of money she has in her bank account.

Halima who currently has 990,000 followers on Instagram slammed her critics who mocked her for nor having up to one million followers.

 

Halima wrote:

 

Someone said, I still never enter 1 million followers, I don block all finish. Look I can buy followers and decieve you all. But I didn’t…..this is my 3rd Instagram page. I eat well. Followers don’t equal money or sense.”

Abubakar was born in Kano but is a descent of Kogi. She attended Ideal primary school in Kano then studied Sociology at Bayero University, Kano.

 

In April 2020, she announced the birth of her baby boy on her Instagram handle.

She began acting in 2001 when she played a minor role in Rejected. Her first lead role was in Gangster Paradise. She is also the CEO of Modehouse Entertainment, a music label and entertainment management company.
